Lately, earthquakes have been frequently happen in Indonesia and resulting loss of property and causing damages to the houses or buildings even takes many lives. There are now a lot of books that discuss about tips or techniques to build a house that is resistant to earthquake and there are also many construction experts who commented on how to build an anti-quake house.
A house is a major requirement besides food and clothing. To realize the dream house, we had to use the builder’s services, of course the builders with expertise in building construction which is really comfortable and safe to live and the house construction or anti-quake building or in the other term is called Absorption of Vibration or AOV. There are four factors that led to the collapse of the house or buildings in the earthquake which are the use of wall material, material usage, energy experts and the arrangement of the room.

In building a house, there are many ways that are taken by the architect to start making a design, one way is by making the blueprint, or spatial arrangement of the house, such as family room, living room, bedroom, kitchen, service room and other rooms that are generally need by a house, connect them in a such way so that become a solid integrated part, the first sketch of the house is usually a rough sketch, which means that this blueprint can still be adjusting to the other factors such as structure, form and probably the materials.
