If you want to change the look of your room then you should try by painting your ceiling with a dark color, you are automatically going to see the ceiling seems to be lower. On the contrary, if you want to make the ceiling seems higher, paint it with bright colors.

Generally, to make the walls seem closer to you, paint them with dark colors. If you have a rectangular shaped room (rectangular) and you want to impress looks like square-shaped, then you should paint the edge of the wall with dark colors .. Meanwhile, for a long wall, you should paint with bright colors. This will make the size of the room looks more symmetrical. If you want to create a comfortable room, choose darker colors that warm.
